SOA-RA SC Colleagues,

 

In preparation for the April F2F, below 
are the NASA/JPL policies regarding visits during normal business 
hours.  [Note that the first bullet is my responsibility.]

 

BUSINESS RELATED VISITS DURING NORMAL WORKING 
HOURS
(7:30 am - 4:30 pm Mondays - 
Fridays):

  
Complete the JPL Security (U.S.) and Foreign 
  National Visitor Request Form in advance of visitors coming to the Lab for 
  technical, scientific, research, sales, demos, seminars, lectures, Laboratory 
  sponsored club meetings, consulting, Laboratory presentations, or contract 
  employment interviews. 
  
All visitors over 18 yrs. must show proper photo 
  identification. 
  
Visitors coming to the Laboratory for business 
  related visits who are not U.S. Citizens, but who have permanent resident (PR) 
  status, must have their PR card with them. 
  
Foreign National visitors must be approved prior to their visit by the Office of Export 
  Compliance. JPL employees requesting visits by foreign nationals must submit a 
  completed JPL Security (U.S) and Foreign National Visitor Request Form well in 
  advance of the visit. Foreign Nationals must possess their Passport and Visa 
  to gain visitor access to JPL.

Am I mistaken in assuming that we don't have 
Foreign Nationals on our subcommittee who would be attending?  If I am 
mistaken, please let me know ASAP because the lead-time for approval is much 
longer than U.S. Citizens or permanent residents.

 

Finally, below are some links that 
provide more information about the "Lab," including maps & directions 
from major airports.  I'll make some hotel recommendations in the coming 
weeks.
