ITIL follows very much a "service center" concept from the 
perspective of IT operations.  It might be a bit of a stretch to extend 
this operations oriented set of best practices to our notion of services as 
managed entities.  Nevertheless, it is worth some looking 
into.

 

Great to see yawl at the OASIS Symposium!
