One more item to keep in mind. When dealing with abstract concepts,
many things like cardinality and specific attributes are not often part
of the equation. If I say that an abstract service has an abstract
service description, how many of those and the specific aspects are not
part of a reference model. They belong in a more concrete architecture.
Nevertheless, we may find use cases for UML as the work progresses. For
example, UML sequence diagrams may be useful to depict patterns.
