Re: [soa-rm] SOA metrics

Yes, many Cloud provider clim they realise SOA and provide services. Unfortunately, they do not look further technical aspects of Cloud while business aspects can make such services undesirable to the consumers. I am talking about legal and industry regulation compliance, for example.

 

I think I wrote about SLA for each Interface in RAF meaning that SLA constitute metrics while each interface may have different nomenclature of measurable paramentes and their values. However, the question about metrics, especially in Ken's formulation, has to specify which RWE should be considered - primary, shared or sharable.

Performance of an SOA-style system (speed, flexibility, up-time, unit

cost, error . . .) or perhaps degree to which a system implements the

SOA model (sounds like a CMM type of thing...)

2. "Madrid where cloud and SOA had nothing to do with each

other" Really? Love to hear that discussion. Have to admit my

initial reaction to Cloud was "new bottle, same wine." But there does

seem to be novelty in the emphasis on delivering the quality of

elasticity (a combo of technical capability and business packaging.)
