Thanks again to Karl for getting this effort organized.

I am Karen Boehme, International Standards Development Manager of the National Fluid Power Association (one of the NFPAs).  Our trade association represents manufacturers of hydraulic and pneumatic components.  NFPA administers standards development at the industry, national and international levels, and we are interested in the standards registry as one more tool toward ensuring that information about our standards is accurate, widely available and easy to use.

StdsReg committee:

We've just had a very successful first committee concall (minutes to go

out soon), with 18 people in attendence. Rather than spending time on

the call to have everyone introduce themselves, as well as to give those

unable to attend the call a chance to participate, I would like to ask

eveyone to introduce themselves via the list.

Please send to this list a short (a paragraph or two) description of who

you are, your interest in the Standards Registry effort, and what you

hope to get out of this.
