It appears that there is no way to specify the units of a
line item other than by putting it as text in the description. So you'd
have line items such as "description='bushels of beans' quantity='5'", and
"description='peck of pickled peppers', quantity='1'", rather than a description
that would have a separate unit of measure (uom), e.g. "beans, quantity 3,
uom bushel" "peppers, quantity 1, uom peck". That seems like a surprising
ommission. Since that is the first thing I notice in 3 minutes' scanning,
I assume there may be other surprises in there.
