A ballot to approve 4 OData Committee Specification Drafts with Non-Material Changes as Committee Specifications has been set up

The OASIS Open Data Protocol (OData) TC members [1] have requested a Special Majority Vote to approve OData, OData Common Schema Definition Language (CSDL) XML Representation, OData Common Schema Definition Language (CSDL) JSON Representation, and OData JSON Format, all Version 4.01, as Committee Specifications. 

Changes have been made to these Committee Specification Drafts since their last public reviews. The description of the changes can be inspected at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/62333/odata-v4.01-csd04-non-material-changes-2018-01-17.docx. 

The TC judges these changes to be Non-Material in accordance with the definition in the OASIS TC Process (http://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process#dNonmaterialChange). The TC requested this ballot in accordance with the procedure for approving a Committee Specification (http://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process#Non-MaterialChangesSummary).

The ballot can be inspected at https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ballot.php?id=3170. The ballot opens on 24 January 2018 and closes on 30 January 2018 at 23:59 UTC.  

Any Eligible Person concerned that the changes are Material is asked to bring their concern to OASIS TC Administration at  so that the appropriate actions can be taken.
