Overview: 

This Executive Summary provides a high-level overview of the TGF.  It is intended to be an easy-to-read summary of the rationale and main points of the TGF and to assist senior managers and implementers in gaining a quick understanding of the areas that need their attention when considering the implementation of a TGF conformant program.

Transformational Government Framework e-Health Profile Version 1.0

Overview: 

This Committee Note contains detailed information and guidance on using the TGF and other OASIS standards to support the work of the delivery of e-Health services provided in the home or in the community. It identifies in particular which of the Core Patterns and Policy Products are relevant and where necessary elaborates them more specifically to the e-Health domain.

The Transformational Government Framework TC is advancing an overall framework for using information technology to improve the delivery of public services. Unlike traditional e-Government strategies of the past, Transformational Government begins with citizen engagement to assure greater use and return on investment. The work of the TC includes defining the framework, identifying use cases, and providing adoption guidance for governments around the world, regardless of their history in implementing e-Government.

Members of the TC [1] approved the Committee Notes by Full Majority Votes. The notes had been released for public review [2]. The votes to approve as Committee Notes passed [3], and the approved Notes are now available online in the OASIS Library as referenced above.

Our congratulations to the TC on achieving these milestones.
