Some precisions about Baltimore meetings.

First please note that the TC meeting time has been changed
from Saturday 14 morning to Friday 13 afternoon, 3:00 - 6:00 PM
I will post separately a provisional agenda.

We've scheduled also, on Thursday 12 evening, a joint meeting with GeoLang and XMLvoc, not
on technical issues, but concerning the status of TopicMaps.Org.

As most of you are aware of, the status of TopicMaps.Org has been pending since Montr嶧l
meeting in August 2001, when migration into OASIS was decided. There has been a proposal
to turn TopicMaps.Org into an OASIS Member Section, acting as a common umbrella for the
present and future OASIS TCs working on Topic Maps. This proposal has recently been
rejected by the OASIS Board of Directors. So the question of the future of TopicMaps.Org,
including singularly the management and update of www.topicmaps.org is still open, and
this question seems to be in the hands of current TCs. Proposals are of course welcome, if
possible before the meeting ...
