OASIS TOSCA Interop Demo - The Fast Facts

Hi Interop SC,



Please find the latest facts and requested actions, which I hope you will find useful. Please be aware that this activity is, strictly speaking, informal until approved by
  the TOSCA TC. This will be placed on the agenda of the next TC meeting.



*
  Location ?  OASIS International Cloud Symposium (ICS). OASIS is only on the 15 th , however registering for ICS through the OASIS site (see below) entitles you to also attend Eurocloud sessions, which are on the 15 th  and 16th). The
  event is Luxembourg, Belgium.

* What will be provided by OASIS on the 15th?

** Tables, power, A/V (like a projector/screen/DVD/microphone)

** signage (OASIS will ensure uniformity for each company and also provide “master signage”

** flyers to Eurocloud/ICS registrants promoting the Interop Demo

** OASIS press release and other promotions through the OASIS site, etc.

** Some additional opportunities to demonstrate to important persons from government and/or analysts (no details yet)

** Recommendations for time slots around lunches, breaks, etc. unless the demo participants want to run their demos all day (see actions below)

** They have scheduled Frank Leymann to speak early in the day as an expert TC speaker. He will promote the interop demo, no doubt, as well

  Send payment to the below. This is a per-company charge for Interop Demo participating companies. The earlier the better, but they must receive by October 4 th  at the very latest.

FUTURE INTEROP DEMOS?

The Interop SC may want to consider another OASIS demo, perhaps in US. This would require new fees and approvals from the TC, etc., but FYI here is the latest list of places
  where OASIS will likely participate (this may change a little). The Interop SC should probably consider this in terms of long-range planning.
