draft specification
Hi all, Stephen, Bill Looby and I met today to looking at the narrative of the specification. Stephen and I also looked at the agenda for the face to face meeting in Washington which I will now be able to attend. We propose that the focus of this meeting should be on completing the specification and starting the process for getting this specification used. We would also like to suggest that since we are meeting in person on the 12th. there is no need for a conference call on the 4th. The suggestions of what needs to be done with the narrative is below. Thanks, Peter. Introduction - This needs to be rewritten after the narrative is complete. Service support - This needs to include reference to tModels and UDDI and how this will work. Security - There needs to be the following in this section a description of the security model we are using WSS and how this work relates to the trans-ws What we propose doing as a minimum. We will also need in the rest of the document to identify which call need to use security. This will be all calls except in service support. Translation and request quote - This will need review Status, Notification and delivery - This will need review and more emphasis on the fact we are not supporting a return web service or BPEL4WS Other - This will be change with viewjobs and canceljobs being moved to Status, Notification and delivery and there a new section called reference files with the uploadreferencefile and downloadreferencefile calls. This will possibly be a separate web services. Appendices - These will need to be reviewed.
