Section 4 of the document is only about the XML and Schema representations. Section 3 is only about the data model. We thought this was consistent with the separation you sought.

 

Also, I believe that section 3 still has a mix of content from your work and the previous work. I would appreciate it If you could look it over and delete extraneous stuff. If you just do the cutting, I will clean it up after.
