This has nothing to do with privacy; the ubl-comment list is
publicly visible and publicly subscribable.  This is about the
chaos and miscommunication caused by cross-posting between mailing
lists.  For example, this reply that you are reading will not be
seen by the members of the ebtwg-ccs list, because I am not a
subscriber to that list.

If you want to inform people on one list of the doings on another
list, then point them to that discussion using a URL and suggest
that they join the list where the discussion is taking place.
Anyone who's interested in joining the discussion on the
ubl-comment list can simply subscribe to the list.  You are
welcome to participate in this discussion and to relay anything
said here to other lists, but there is absolutely no reason to
cross-post.  Please stop it.
