MINUTES of UBL-TSC Meeting

Item Discussed

 

1. Status Message

- Tim mentioned that based
on the Excel file produced by Dave’s team, he had worked out the draft
data model.

- It mostly addressed the
data elements in that Excel file

- Two new aggregate ABIEs
were created. These are Event and Status.

- The Status and Event ABIEs
are based on TBG17 CCL.

- Reference to UN/EDIFACT
Status message was made as input.

- The approach taken is to
say ‘This is a status message and this is what it relates to’.

- There is one status message
per consignment and one Status message can contain more than one events.

- UN Rec. 24 will be used
for the Transport Status Codes

- Other dates like Actual,
Estimated, etc will be added to the Event ABIE.

- For manufacturer party,
the Original Despatch party could be used.

- Transport Mode has been
added to Transport Means ABIE.

- Use Document Reference to
capture HAWB, MAWB number.

- Delivery to have status as
well. This will be decided later.

- Shipment to have split and
pre-class BIE

- Added Custom Import
Classfied into Goods Item

- For UOM, to use UN Rec.
20.

 

2. AOB

- Kama
mentioned that from next week, he’ll set up two sessions per week, so
that the BPSS for the documents under TSC can also be discussed and reviewed.

 

Action Item

1. Tim to work out the Status
message Excel file. 

2. Kama
to setup two sessions per week from next week

3. For next week, the
session will be held on Wednesday, 3PM SGT and Thursday, 1PM SGT.
