MINUTES of UBL-TSC Meeting

 

1000 – 1100 SGT, Thursday, 14 September 2006

Item Discussed

 

1. Status of PRD3 package

- Kama mentioned
that the PRD3 package is currently under balloting. 

- Andy update that the balloting period will end
next Wednesday. Some non-normative changes are still being done, but this will not
affect the XML schemas.

 

2. Sample documents

- Kama referred to order
& forwarding instruction sample documents sent by Tim on 11 Aug 2006. 

- Andy mentioned that Tim is planning to work on the
transport status document.

- Kama would like
to use these samples to start building other required transport documents like
CoO. 

 

3. UBL Plenary in Singapore

- Kama mentioned
that he had gotten both Jon and Tim’s comment regarding the plenary

- Both Jon & Tim are of the view that the
technical work to be accomplished during the Singapore meeting will not be
affected by the later release of UBL 2.0 as an OASIS standard. The work includes
support package and translation by the localization sub-committees.

- Kama mentioned that the meeting facilities for the
Singapore
meeting had already been arranged. Hence the Singapore meeting will go as per
schedule, i.e. 6 – 10 November 2006.

- Andy mentioned that Tim will chair the Singapore
meeting.

-.Andy to collaborate with Tim to work on the transport
status document

- Kama to work on the CoO
document

- Kama to try and identify
suitable hotels and make recommendation to participants attending the Singapore
meeting
