Tom and I are pleased to report that the TC has 
approved the following resolution: 

  
Resolved that the "Providing A Value Set For Use In UDDI 
  Version 3" (http://oasis-open.org/committees/uddi-spec/doc/tn/uddi-spec-tc-tn-valuesetprovider-20030212.htm) document be approved as a 
  UDDI Spec TC Technical Note. 

The results of the ballot are provided below. The 
TN will be posted to the TC’s Web page in 
the days to come. 

Tom and I will then ask Dee Schur of 
OASIS to send this out in her weekly notice.

Process: 

  
As documented in our TC's process (http://oasis-open.org/committees/uddi-spec/doc/process/uddi-spec-tc-process-20021212.doc), the voting rules to approve a Technical Note requires 
  a simple majority vote of the TC's voting quorum in 
  favor of the Technical Note. For the purposes of e-mail 
  vote counting, the quorum is constituted by the voting members of the TC 
  membership (http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/uddi-spec/members.shtml - excluding Prospective Members).

  
The vote will be carried out via e-mail commencing 
  Monday 17 Feb 2003 (Pacific) and closing Monday 24 Feb 2003 18:00 (Pacific).

  "Disapprove"; to abstain reply with "Abstain.
