UIMA TC Telecon Reminder for March 28 2008
Hi All, We are on for tomorrow at the usual time 11AM. The agenda is to discuss a plan for submitting the draft for review and publication by OASIS on June 1st. Here's a tentative schedule from Adam: ----------------------------------------------------- If we want to get a draft done by June 1st, here's how I see the schedule unfolding and what help I'll need: Friday, April 18th (3 weeks from now, NOT a telecon date): TC members finish up their sections and send me updates: * Dave - Introduction * Eric - CAS specification, Type System Model * Karen - Base Type System * Thomas - Processing Element Metadata * (I'll also be working on the other sections during this time.) Friday, April 25th: I'll merge everything together and send out another draft prior to our telecon. Friday, May 9th: All the TC members commit to doing a good read-through of the April 25th and send comments, to be discussed during our telecon. I'll try to get a near-final draft out as soon as I can after that, so we can do one more iteration before June 1st. I also saw from last time's minutes that we decided to tighten up the Abstract Interfaces section and require compliant services to send and receive data in the standard XML representations. I think that's a good idea, it'll definitely make the spec less vague. So I'll go ahead and implement that suggestion.
