Future of TC?

Hi everyone,

   Sursen has chosen not to renew its OASIS membership, leaving the TC  
without a Chair and with only 4 Voting Members. No further work can  
happen in the Technical Committee until a new Chair is elected.  
Alternatively, the members can decide to close the Technical Committee.

   At this point I am proceeding with the premise that the Technical  
Committee wishes to continue its work, and opening nominations for  
Chair. Please respond to the list with either your self-nomination, or  
the nomination of another member of the TC, by 10 June, at which point  
I will conduct an official ballot. Alternatively, should the members  
wish to close the TC, please voice your opinion to the list.
