Reminder that ballot for Biometric Identity Assurance Services (BIAS) SOAP Profile for OASIS Standard closes this Thursday

Just a reminder that if your organization has not yet voted on the ballot to approve Biometric Identity Assurance Services (BIAS) SOAP Profile V1.0 as an OASIS Standard and intends to do so, the ballot closes end of day Thursday.

The BIAS SOAP Profile specifies a common SOAP implementation for Biometric Identity Assurance Services – generic biometric web services accessed over an open framework. The issue of identity touches many types of interactive services and this work is intended to form a basis for the use of biometric technologies/capabilities in these and related areas.
