hi all
thanks a lot for kick-starting the conversation.
i would propose a rotating schedule, which is something that has worked well in the past in other standards committees that i have been involved in.
i would suggest to alternate between europe and the us and start in europe granted that we have a bigger portion of our tc members in europe.
i agree that we should shoot for a date that is far enough out so we can all arrange for it. in my experience it would be good to shoot for a date that is probably two to three months out...
on the other hand i would like to encourage as much collaboration on this list and the issues tracker as possible.
regards,
david

Hi all,
Well, I guess I can't argue for a US location if most people are in Europe :) But we need to decide a date soon, in order to book travel.
And if it's gonna be in Copenhagen, any hotel suggestions?

Have you tried using http://doodle.com ? It's a great way to find date / availability from lots of people.
I'll leave it to the chair to set up the poll.

How about setting up a poll for the date?
Let's do this soon so we can plan, as calendars tend to fill up quickly.

Dear Members of the TC
In our last weeks kick-off call we mentioned to go ahead and plan a f2f
meeting.
Given that we have a wide variety of potential implementations, a f2f
meeting should help to sync ourself and make progress with the spec.
I have following recommendation that I would like to discuss:
* Length: 1 full day meeting (arriving the day before, leaving the day
later)
* Possible date ranges:
** February 28-March 1
** March 6-8
* Possible locations:
** Somewhere on the US east coast?
** do we have more people from Europe on the TC? Then Europe would make
sense?
Let's discuss the detailed agenda in a separate thread - this is for
logistics.
