Subject: [ws-dd] New Issue: definition for "stable" ID

Please defer discussions on this issue
until a time this issue is accepted and is assigned a number.

Description:

Document: DPWS Version 1.0

Line number: 42

Owner: Scott de Deugd

Description:

Editorial:

Section 3.5
has:

R0005: A
DEVICE MUST use a stable, globally unique identifier that is constant across
network interfaces and IPv4/v6 addresses as the [address] property of its
Endpoint Reference.

DPWS needs to
define "stable".

Proposed Resolution (changes in red):

Define 'stable' or perhaps just remove its use here since the rest of it covers
what needs to be said.
