Help in BPEL

Dear users

I am having some doubts in BPEL. please clarify this.

BPEL, also known as BPEL4WS and WSBPEL. is it correct?

According
to me BPEL provides a portable correlation mechanism called correlation
sets. By using this we can identify stateful instance then why they are
saying not dealing with stateful service.

BPEL version 1.1 is not capable of dealing with stateful service. We are using BPEL version 1.2.2. what about this specification?

Latest version is BPEL 2.0?
