WS BPEL 2.0 Second public review draft - need update

Sounds like we need an update to the
public review draft for 

document status: Public Review
Draft 02

document identifier: wsbpel-specification-pr02

Sid Askary affiliation changed to Individual

Is anyone available to volunteer for
this on Monday so John can get started with the RDDL etc?

Hi Mary, 

On this page, you will find the record
of attendance at the first meeting of the BPEL TC - http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/event.php?event_id=1326

It includes Ben and Yaron with their
corporate affiliations.  

Sid started participating at the first
f2f meeting as an individual ( http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/event.php?event_id=1326
).  When I went back to put
the appendix together from the previous rosters, I found that at a later
point in time, his affiliation changed to Nuperus on the OASIS roster.
 I don't recall exactly when this was - but can find out if its necessary
(It involves searching all the attendance records for the meetings).

Hi John,

 

  I just couldn't find any
record of Ben or Yaron; if you say that they were part of the TC I believe
you. Sid, however, was an individual member, and therefore we can't display
his company name on the cover page. Instead, like in the TC member listing,
it should say Sid Askary, Individual.

 

  I think the existing RDDL
is fine and can just be updated; for XHTML you should just save the editable
source as HTML until TC Administration builds some transformations that
create nice, clean files.

Sid, Ben and Yaron were
all members of OASIS for their respective employers (listed in your email
below).   I’m not sure why there would be no record of them at OASIS.
   It would be a shame to remove all of these gentlemen from
the spec - some of them were quite active in the TC.

 

Are there templates I
should use for the updated XHTML, RDDL, etc?

Hi Mary, 

The TC just approved an updated committee draft for second public review.
 We posted the final committee draft to http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsbpel/document.php?document_id=21219

We have a couple questions about the changes that are needed for the public
review package - eg, should the title be Public Review Draft or Second
Public Review Draft?  Also, what is the document identifier and should
it be updated?   

Once we have these answers we'll get the whole package with the xhtml,
rddl, etc to you.
