After reading section 9.2.* (URL Rewriting) I was not clear on what are the use cases for URL rewriting, and what is their semantic meaning. The most obvious case, rewriting IMG and LINK urls, is not mentioned.
The use cases that are mentioned seem to relate more to the case of an HREF link. However, it is not explained what happens after a user clicks on this link:
Is the result opened instead of the portal page? instead of the specific iView?
Does the response from this request also go through URL rewriting? If not then a second click may not be possible in the described use cases.
