with reference to the minutes in regard to the 
conformance test definitions; I had suggested 
something similar in an e-mail a couple of days
ago.

I may be able to commit the time to lead this effort
(now) if there was interest in doing this in 
parallel with the spec effort.

I also have spare cycles that I could contribute to
developing RI/sample code.
