Good catch! The length of an ID is limited
to 4096. Handles and Keys are shorter (255).

Should '255' be '4096' instead?
 It's inconsistent with the ID maximum length of '4096' on line 15
above.  Or maybe it's vice versa, I'm forgetting the resolution on
ID length.
