Fw: [members] SECOND ANNUAL OASIS SYMPOSIUM - THE FUTURE OF XMLVOCABULARIES
I just made my reservation and learned
at the end that only 13 rooms were still available at the OASIS rate for
the week. I would encourage people to make their reservations ASAP! (hotel
has a 72hr cancellation policy)

SECOND ANNUAL OASIS SYMPOSIUM - THE FUTURE OF XML VOCABULARIES

Website: http://www.oasis-open.org/events/symposium_2005/

Dates: 24-29 April 2005

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

The OASIS Symposium is a two-day event that blends technical and

application-oriented presentations with invaluable networking

opportunities. Preceding the OASIS Annual General Members Meeting and

three days of OASIS TC meetings, the Symposium represents the largest

face-to-face gathering of OASIS members., The OASIS Technical Advisory

Board presents a program that brings together leading experts sharing

their understanding and experience to help the XML and OASIS community

build stronger, more useful vocabularies. Sessions consider a full range

of topics including UBL, Versioning and Development, Semantics and

Ontologies, and Experiences/Case Studies/Verticals. Of particular

interest this year, are presentations focusing on lessons developers and

designers have learned (and are continuing to learn) about the evolution

of vocabularies.
