as list activity becomes increasingly frenetic pending the creation of v2 it is 
difficult to capture all of the items that should be visited during the next 
plenary meeting. so, in a rare mood of administrative proactivity i am sending 
out a call for topics in an attempt make sure we don't let anything slip through 
the cracks--particularly issues to be voted upon--in the few weeks remaining 
before our content deadline. this should also help prioritize Work Item discussions.

please send a note to hal or myself no later than noon (ET) on wednesday with 
those issues you would like to see discussed on thursday (otherwise prepare 
yourself for the biweekly 'Reading of the List' :o)
