Re: [xacml] Changes required to submitted document - XACML TC - Request for Second Public Review
Hi Eric, Unfortunately that's not what was submitted; Hal's request dated 22 April is incorporated below. --- From: Harold Lockhart <> Subject: XACML TC - Request for Second Public Review Date: April 22, 2010 10:40:56 AM EDT To: Tc-Admin (E-mail) <> Cc: Bill Parducci (E-mail) <>, Tolbert, John W <> At the April 8 meeting of the XACML TC, the TC voted to request a second public review of 15 days for XACML Intellectual Property Control (IPC) profile Version 1.0 Committee draft 2. The document contains a designated cross-reference as defined in TC Process section 2.19. It is understood that this may delay the date the spec reaches approved status. The designated cross-reference is: eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) Version 3.0 Committee Draft 03 http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/37088/xacml-3.0-core-spec-cd-03-en.zip It is expected to become an OASIS Standard by December 31, 2010. The minutes of the meeting are here: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xacml/201004/msg00012.html The document is here: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/37055/xacml-3.0-ipc-v1-spec-cd-02-en.doc http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/37077/xacml-3%200-ipc-v1-spec-cd-02-en.pdf http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/37054/xacml-3.0-ipc-v1-spec-cd-02-en.htm The announcement of the first public review is here: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/200910/msg00013.html The log of changes made since the first public review is here: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/36727/IPC%20change%20log.doc Hal Lockhart Bill Pardicci --- Mary P McRae Director, Standards Development Technical Committee Administrator OASIS: Advancing open standards for the information society email: web: www.oasis-open.org twitter: @fiberartisan #oasisopen phone: 1.603.232.9090 Standards are like parachutes: they work best when they're open. It is CD-03 which has been (or should have been) submitted to public review and I believe these issues (or at least most of them) have been already fixed. The stage should be initial cap. The HTML as created out of Word cannot be uploaded by itself; any images or other external resources will be lost. When saving as HTML Word creates both an html file and a folder that contains these resources. The resulting set must be uploaded as a zip into Kavi in order to be complete. This Version link has changed directories from the original CD01 upload. The directory location must remain the same. In addition, pdf and html files must be listed. Please designate one file as 'Authoritative'. Previous version: the link is not in the proper location of the CD01 files. In addition, pdf and html files must be listed. The Latest Version URIs are incorrect and do not correspond to the CD01 files. Related work: this should be hypertext linked to the actual specification referenced. Status links, which were correct in CD01, are once again broken. Notices, last paragraph, please remove bracketed section, which reads ' [insert specific trademarked names and abbreviations here] & need to link OASIS to its homepage]'. OASIS references, which were correct in CD01, are improperly formatted. Please either remove extraneous links to XACMLIntro or provide full citation information for each. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about these changes.
