I think Loren has a very good point here. With every discussion I see more
synergy between the "SOAP-for-data" and "HTML-for-data" models and I agree
with Loren that both can help achieve the virtues of the Dataweb.

So I will stop referring to the "HTML-for-data" model as the "dataweb"
approach. I'll call it the "logical database" approach.

It's a bit misleading to define one approach as a dataweb
approach, and another approach as a data envelope approach
since both approaches achieve the virtues of the dataweb.

In reality, one approach achieves the dataweb without changing
existing XML structures, and the other one does the same thing,
but breaks apart XML elements into a new data structure.

I may be wrong, but that's how I see this.
