May I suggest a modification to your httpd.conf using rewrite rules that allows all of the following to go to the front page:

http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xdi

http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xdi/

http://wiki.oasis-open.org/xdi/FrontPage

It's a very low complexity modification that'll be really useful as if someone knows the wikifarm is at http://wiki.oasis-open.org then the naturally assumed way to get to the XDI wiki is to append a /xdi or /xdi/.

I know that you know mod rewrite, but if you don't have the time I'd be happy to help (if you send me the httpd.conf file, I can send back a modified version and a diff).

Drummond and Bill either http://wiki.oasis-open/xdi/ will work along

with what Drummond has explained below. The reason for this is the

mod-rewrite function in Apache and our use of similar names.

We are in the process of creating a main index page to minimize this

behavior as well as looking for an alternative solution.
