Proposal to close open issues with quad tree serialization format

In preparation for tomorrow's call, I finished writing up a proposal to settle the final issues with the JSON quad tree format—namely the treatment of what we have been calling "empty context nodes", but which I realized in preparing the formal proposal needed more precise names (because there are two cases):

Solitary context nodes.

Object-only context nodes.

Explanations of these terms and the proposed rules are in bold in this section of the wiki page.

The special examples I created to illustrate these rules are at the bottom of the page.
