RE: [xliff] (segmentation subcom) - Statement of Purpose, Draft

The goals need to include:
1. segmentation type (sentence vs paragraph...)
2. segmentation rules
3. lossless conversion requirements between types and rules
4. Namespacing segmentation?

Comments? 

Here is slight simplification of Yves' initial proposal:
"The XLIFF Segmentation Subcommittee goal is to recommend segmentation representations within an XLIFF document."

Here is the draft for a statement of purpose for the XLIFF Segmentation
subcommittee.

"The XLIFF Segmentation Subcommittee goal is to work on solutions to be
recommended to the XLIFF Main Committee regarding how segmented data (e.g.
sentences) should be represented in an XLIFF document"
