This 
is quite interesting.  It is good to see another mainstream use of 
XLIFF.  I took a look at the XSLTs and they're quite skillfully done.  
I noticed that the roundtrip makes use of XLIFF 1.1 (I'm not in a position to 
criticize - my roundtrip tool, regrettably, is also stuck on that 
version).  It makes me think that perhaps as part of Peter and David's 
effort to promote XLIFF, it might be useful to also set "update 1.1 applications 
to 1.2" as a side goal.

 

I hope 
you don't mind me cc'ing the list with this.  I think it has impact on our 
stated promotion goal.
