ISO submission of XLIFF 2.0

All, please find attached the letter that we want to use to ask OASIS management to submit XLIFF, Version 2.0 to ISO.

This has been drafted by Peter based on examples given by Jamie.

We were through the draft in the last P&L SC 2 weeks ago and the attached draft is the result of that. There has been no P&L SC discussion on that since, so it should be good to get TC approval and move along.

I propose we send the following to the leadership of OASIS as a request to advance XLIFF 2.0 as an ISO standard. This document covers all the issues which Jamie mentioned in his example so I cannot imagine there are any issues with it. 

 

Can you propose that the TC agrees with this.

just a quick question, do you plan to attend the XLIFF meetings tomorrow?

 

Some good reasons for your attendance :-)

1. You'd lose your voting right if you missed tomorrow

2. We need you to see some progress on the ISO submission front.

3. Neither Lucía nor Asanka will be able to take minutes tomorrow as both are travelling..
