Subject: [xliff] ISO 21720 - XLIFF

Hi All,

Mercé Ferres of ISO has just written to Jamie Clarke to inform him that XLIFF has unanimously passed the DIS vote with no comments. ISO will now want to skip the FDIS stage and go straight to publication.

There is one issue which Mercé is raising with Jamie. ISO need confirmation that every concerned Patent Holder agree with their Patent Policy and sign their Patent Statement and Licensing Declaration form, expressing
their willingness to grant licenses to the users of the ISO Standard. My understanding is that this is a formality as we must sign this before contributing to an OASIS standard.

Congratulations to everyone involved! This should help promote the standard and the work of the technical committee.

Thanks,

Peter.
