Ok, that sounds as an Okapi ticket to me.
As I said, there is wildcard other on the core xsd, so the problem is not coming from there.. locally you seem to be only validating with core xsd, would be good to also validate with NVDL/schematrons..
During tomorrow I should be able to check it with NVDL and schematrons to double check.. but I think that Yves has not been using this in Okapi/Lynx, I think he uses custom code..

can u please clarify which part of the validation platform or which validation service gives you those errors?
I just quickly checked that its:domains is allowed on both unit and mrk in the spec and the core xsd has the wild card other.. on both unit and mrk (and sm) did you declare the itsm namespace?
