That's very well said, Uche.  If the Web is about representing (almost) any
information and having it accessible to "everyone",  the Semantic Web is at
bottom about saying (almost) anything about resources and having anyone
("anyone" to eventually include software) be able to use those sayings to
advantage.  When you have that happening, you can see the other things
people claim for the SW as being built on top.  It's not going to happen in
one fell swoop, or in just one way.  And it will HAVE to be practical, or it
won't happen.
