I think you can do

<xs:unique>
  <xs:selector xpath="XXX/parent"/>
  <xs:field xpath="@a"/>
  <xs:field xpath="@d"/>
  <xs:field xpath="container/name"/>
</xs:unique>

Not sure what XXX is since it depends where you are selecting from.
