The missing piece in software is "drawings": the means by which  
requirements are conveyed to logisiticians and manufacturers.  Unless  
one works in a logistics organization, the subtleties of that get lost  
or instantly analogized to domain design.

Is software design and production more like building a car, publishing  
a book or baking a cake?
