I am amazed at how I can enforce writing rules
using Schematron Quick Fix in oXygen XML and how
much easier my life has been automating the making of rote changes.
I have a DocBook publishing environment tailored
for producing OASIS work products and first used
SQF to enforce non-model content
constraints. Then it became necessary to
simultaneously publish an OASIS standard as an
ISO standard and so wrote a conversion of DocBook
to ISOSTS for my ISOSTS publishing
environment. With SQF I can enforce more DocBook
constraints to support the result of
transformation to ISOSTS where constraints are tighter than DocBook.
I didn't know what I was missing until I had it in my hands and used it!
