New prototype available

    (most likely deleted if you are reading this from the archive)

This is the latest changes to the validation of a submitted catalogue 
against the genericizing configuration instance.

On Wednesday, feel free to make whatever changes you need to to the DTDs 
and test instances and I can retrofit your changes into my internal source 
code control system after Wednesday.

I wonder if you need any more revisions before Wednesday ... please let me 
know.

Remember, I'm not tackling merging yet, but will do so after the catalogue 
validation prototype has been accepted by the others in the group.
