Fwd: Email sent to voters re: [voting] Groups - Ballot closed: "Call for consent of Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) V1.0 as an OASIS Standard"
Members of the BDXR TC,
As you have no doubt seen, the ballots to approve  Service Metadata Publishing (SMP)

Version 1.0  and   Business Document Metadata Service Location Version 1.0 as OASIS Standards have closed and both ballots have passed.
These two votes were held under the new call for consent model. Under this new model, consent is assumed unless eligible voters cast valid objections. Your ballots received 13 affirmative consents for SMP and 12 for   Business Document Metadata Service Location and neither received any objections.
Therefore the ballots have passed and your specifications are our newest OASIS Standards.
I will now announce the approvals to the membership and publish the OSs. TC Admin JIRA tickets
https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TCADMIN-2641 and  https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TCADMIN-2642 have been opened to track this work.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Meanwhile, thank you for being the first votes under the new model and congratulations on achieving this milestone.
Best regards,
/chet

Version 1.0 describes a protocol for publishing service metadata within a 4-corner network. The TC has received 5 Statements of Use from Chasquis Consulting, Efact S.A.C., IBM, Norwegian Agency for Public Management and Government (Difi), and ph-peppol-smp-server. [2].
This is a call to the Organizational Members of OASIS to consent or object to this approval. You are welcome to register your consent explicitly on the ballot; however your consent is assumed unless you register an objection [3]. To register an objection, you must:
1. Indicate your objection on this ballot, and
2. Provide a reason for your objection and/or a proposed remedy to the TC.
You may provide the reason in the comment box or by email to the Technical Committee on its comment mailing list or, if you are a member of the TC, to the TC's mailing list [3]. If you provide your reason by email, please indicate in the subject line that this is in regard to the Call for Consent. Note that failing to provide a reason and/or remedy may result in an objection being deemed invalid.
