Fwd: Email sent to voters re: [voting] Groups - Ballot closed: "Call for consent of Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) V1.0 as an OASIS Standard"
Members of the BDXR TC, As you have no doubt seen, the ballots to approve Service Metadata Publishing (SMP) Version 1.0 and Business Document Metadata Service Location Version 1.0 as OASIS Standards have closed and both ballots have passed. These two votes were held under the new call for consent model. Under this new model, consent is assumed unless eligible voters cast valid objections. Your ballots received 13 affirmative consents for SMP and 12 for Business Document Metadata Service Location and neither received any objections. Therefore the ballots have passed and your specifications are our newest OASIS Standards. I will now announce the approvals to the membership and publish the OSs. TC Admin JIRA tickets https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TCADMIN-2641 and https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/TCADMIN-2642 have been opened to track this work. Please let me know if you have any questions. Meanwhile, thank you for being the first votes under the new model and congratulations on achieving this milestone.
