2. Calendar for critical dates to enable DITA 1.3 to be released in 2015

Kris; hoping Chet will open the ballot today; that would be exactly in line with schedule.

            The spreadsheet includes e-mail addresses, whether a company uses DITA, whether the company is a TC member, and whether the company voted Yes on DITA 1.2 

Tom went over status; currently, there are 37 people who haven't been contacted, but at this point it would be better to just contact them once the ballot opens.

Kris; question is; how can everybody be most productive with their time?

Tom; hoped we'd have all gotten replies from our people; any kind of reply makes it more likely that they'll reply to second note. But we only have 10 or so. We really need 45 votes, so we need to make another contact as soon as vote opens saying basically 'you've got to vote and please do it soon'.  And if they haven't done it within a few days, ping them again; we have only 2 weeks to do this.  Make the second note as short as possible. Also, if you know someone at the company, contact them and ask them to contact their primary rep.  

Kris; there's another standard up for a vote - XMILE - it's a small TC.  It already has 13 'yes' votes.

Tom; also, there are some people who are voters who haven't had anyone call them about DITA.

Kris; keep eyes on XMILE; anyone who votes for that should also vote for us. Look for your contacts in the list of people who've voted for XMILE and contact them to say 'vote for DITA too!'.

Kris; closing early; you can take the next half hour to draft notes to your contacts.
