Non-breaking space size in XEP output

Hi all,

I'm not happy with the generated text   in pdf, when using XSL
1.66.1 and XEP 3.8.3.

It looks like there are two spaces between the label and the number:
Section  12.1
Chapter  3

they should be:
Section 12.1
Chapter 3

How could I control it?
