I'm not sure I understand. I can open a PDF file generated by
the DocBook XSL stylesheets in Adobe Acrobat Standard 7, attach
comments, and save the file. The original PDF file was created
by any of the XSL-FO processors, including FOP 0.20.5. Perhaps
Acrobat inserts the digital signature when it adds the comments,
but the file doesn't have to be created by Adobe Acrobat.
