Action 06-05-22-05: RefURI attribute in SignedReference OptionalInput

Dear all,

Below follows the proposed ammended text for RefURI details in 
SignedReference element.
More explicitly, the following text would substitute, if accepted, text 
in lines 1323 to 1326 in section 3.5.9.

"RefURI [Optional]
If this attribute is present, the corresponding <ds:Reference> element’s 
URI attribute is set to its value, else this attribute is omitted in the 
corresponding <ds:Reference>."

Some comments:

1. No mention is done to overriding anything in InputDocument: this must 
be clear from text in first paragraph of section 3.5.9.

2. The behaviour of the server is also made explicit in the case the 
attribute does not appear.

Now, what it should also be clear is that if the InputDocument contains 
a RefURI BUT the SignedReference does not contain the RefURI, the 
corresponding ds:Reference will NOT HAVE ANY URI attribute, because the 
driving element here is SignedReferences....

do you think that the conjunction of what is said in the first paragraph 
and the proposed text make it clear?
