We (Open ebXML Lab.) are interested in and doing research in the area
the of process oriented
frameworks and BPML is one of the models/frameworks we are looking
into. In a few approaches
we are viewing ebXML as specialized in realizing *integration* processes
and the BPML, WfMC, BML etc.
as specialized to handle *internal* processes.
This approach has been fruitful and still is. One of the forward looking
ideas we considering is to
extend UMM to better handle internal process and close the gap between
the two types of frameworks.
