Non-substantive changes to Energy Interoperation 1.0 - Suggestions by October 10
EITC Members --
As we continue to move forward to OASIS Standard for Energy
Interoperation 1.0, we are going to do a "fix-the-typo" round first;
this will give a more readable specification.
OASIS rules allow an expedited process for "non-substantive"
changes, e.g. typos, mis-wording, and so forth. The purpose is in
part to fix those jarring things while not affecting any conforming
applications.
All of the links below are in the publication site,
http://docs.oasis-open.org/energyinterop/ei/v1.0/cs02/ .
Please review and use the line numbers in the PDF for your
suggested changes and post them to Jira.
http://docs.oasis-open.org/energyinterop/ei/v1.0/cs02/energyinterop-v1.0-cs02.pdf
Also fair game are COMMENTS in the schemas and wsdl; see
http://docs.oasis-open.org/energyinterop/ei/v1.0/cs02/energyinterop-v1.0-cs02.pdf
and
http://docs.oasis-open.org/energyinterop/ei/v1.0/cs02/wsdl/
If you must, please mark up the word doc - but the preferred
mechanism is jira comments. One issue can list all of your comments
in line number order; this will make the editors' job much more
efficient.
Please have all suggestions in by October 10.
The TC "executive group" will analyze and include in the Working
Draft only those we determine are non-substantive. We will then
start a special majority ballot to approve the non-substantive
changes and create a new Committee Specification.
That new Committee Specification will then start the OASIS Standard
process immediately after approval.
Please contact the chairs with any issues or questions.
Thanks!
bill
